The Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps finished up their 2018 season with a strong, crowd favorite, performance at Ogden, Utah, achieving an all-time personal best score of 57.95.

The Columbians 2018 show called Danzon!, explored Latin dance using Danzon No 2 by Arturo Marquez, Bailando by Enrique Iglesias, Havana by Camila Cabello, and On The Floor by Jennifer Lopez. The 2018 production featured Latin sounds, synthesized effects, and a sultry trombone feature.

The Columbians would not be possible without a host of support personnel.  The Columbians would like to thank our production staff, cook staff, chaperones, medical staff, drivers, host families, photographers, and countless other people that supported us along the way.  We could not have done this without you.  We’d also like to thank our amazing bus drivers at A&A Motor Coach, the City of Pasco, Lifequest, Connell School District, Richland School District, West Valley Yakima School District, Fruitland Music Boosters, and many other schools that hosted us during our 2018 season.

To those that helped us out financially, we are forever indebted to you.  The Columbians family thanks you from the bottom of our hearts.  We are still trying to reach our financial goals for the 2018 season.  If you are able to help us reach those goals, you can still help out at https://tinyurl.com/y8h42kww.

This season has been a season of growth and amazement. The 2018 corps consisted of 60% first-time participants. With such a young corps, they really learned how to persevere through some challenging times, all while getting a world-class drum corps experience. They have shown immense growth and achievement this season.

Our staff truly provides a World-Class experience for our members. The chemistry among our staff is sure to carry us to the next level.  2019 will continue to bring success for the Columbians Drum and Bugle Corps!  We hope you can join us.
